A crisp and refreshing sour German ale that is light in body and very tart with flavors reminiscent of sourdough bread.

Post GBBF tasting at ChrisOs. Can. Slight haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and minerally crisp. Light tartness, some mild lemon tartness. Little generic fruits. Light tart crisp finish. Amusing but slightly acid.

This brew is a hazy bright yellow color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tart citrus, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of lemon, floral yeast and doughy malt. The finish is moderately tart and wheaty with a lemony aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can from Discount. Pours a hazy straw color with a small head that dissipates in an instant. Clean, lacto nose with some faint citrus. Tart on the palate, with a scratchy mouthfeel. Easy drinking with good wheat character. Solid example of the style.
