New England IPA meets Farmhouse Saison

Heavily-hopped with a distorted blend of Citra, Simcoe, Pacific Gem, and Hallertau Blanc; distortion invades our lives but the music from that distortion helps us drive through.

From tap at Avenue Pub, New Orleans. Fruity and yeasty aroma with citrus, grass, some peach and bubblegum, lychee, mild esters. Sweetish flavour with a hoppy bitterness. Body is medium. Nice hoppy Saison.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at a London bottle shop (maybe Craft n Draft or Bottle Shop (RIP)?). Pours totally clear honey-gold with a fluffy, white head. Clean stuff overall, has some pithy citrus, dried pale grains, restrained saison yeast expression, crackery pale malts. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Somewhat sweet in the finish, with more dry pale crackers, wheat flakes, straw, lemon rind. Drinks just fine.

Can from Chez Sophie. Drunk with My Bloody Valentine in my head. Aroma of lemon meringue. Taste is hazy NE-saison-y, pleasant yeasty lemon curd, quite light and soft on the palate, some bubblegum, apricot, lychee but primarily lemon. Enjoyable, highly drinkable.

Can. Has a hazy straw colour with an off-white head. Tropical aroma of pineapple, apricots, mango, orange peel and grass. Lots of fruit in the flavour as well with grass and dry hay in the end. Has a slick and little watery mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Fruity, easy going, low bitterness and easy drinking.
