Dry-hopped Sour with Italian plum. The beer-drinkers’ rosé. We worked backwards with this one - first came the design, then we reverse-engineered a beer to match.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thin, fairly large-bubbled pure white head on top. Aroma of crisp fruits with plums and prunes all coming out, some vinifera grapes and a dose of hay and grass also noticeable. Light-bodied; Dry flavours throughout with a good deal of fruits, such as the prunes and plums with some apricots and especially grapefruit and lemon citrus flavours that are on the sour, tart and dry side of things, but lend an interesting profile in terms of the flavours. Aftertaste isn't terribly complex with the fruits, some dry grain, a touch of subdued herbs and a smooth sweetness towards the end with no real flavours of alcohol or malts make this like a drier and more fruit-oriented gose with no brine or salt characteristics, just those of the fruit, the tart flavours and especially the dry and refreshing profile. Overall, a nice beer - complex throughout with the fruit being very nice and well-worth trying especially if you like plums and apricots. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Clarendon), Virginia on 22-October-2017 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on 07-June-2018.

Can. Pours hazy pinkish orange with large foamy pinkish white head, fruity acidic aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter tart taste with plum flavor, thin body, long tart finish. Double dry hopping doesn't seem to have much effect on the taste, which is dominated by the sourness.

Can: Poured a clear light reddish/amber color ale with a medium foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of tart notes with subtle plums notes also noticeable. Taste is a mix of tart notes with light plums with hard to notice dry hops notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice refreshing beer but I would have liked plums and dry-hopped notes to be even more pronounced.

Whole Foods, Bowery can: pours a pinkish orange with a white head. Aroma is hints of plum, light lactose, and sour ale stuff. Taste is lightly sour. Plummy notes are faint. Not a huge amount going on. Was what it is. Color is the plummiest aspect.
