Sampled @ Carnivale Brettanomyces. Murky muddy brownish color, no head. Smell and taste malts, metallic, sweetish, overripe fruits, leaves, weird. Average body and carbonation. Meh.

Sample from tap @ Carnival Brettanomyces 2015, in Prael proeflokaal. Cloudy orange-brown color. No head to speak of. Aroma’s: caramel, sweet/red fruit. Retronasal some funkiness as well. Flavor is moderate sweet, bready malts, light funky sourness. Medium bodied. Finish is dry and moderate bitter.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled draft @ De Prael during Carnivale Brettanomyces #4. Murky red fruit amber with no head. Nose is murky moldy yeast, strawberry, off, rotting red wine,… Taste is murky yeast, boozy fruits, fermenting strawberry, oddly sweet, moldy, rotting red wine,… Huge sweetness makes it okay manageable if you are into huge slabs of yeast, sugar etc. Big murky body. Def. not a success.

Tap at Prael. Murky brown with no head. Caramel, grapes, smoked meat, sour red wine, light old wood, fresh leaves, chicory. Light sweet with soft sourness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at De Prael. Pours murky orange brown with a tiny ring off white head. Aroma of rancid vegetables, caramel, light wood, smokey notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied with flat carbonation.
