Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Hazy tiny burnt golden pour with a frothy white head. Cereal malts, light fruity esters, yeasty spices & grassy hop nose. Bitter herbal spicy taste. Soft fairly dry mouthfeel. Solid & quaffable!

Bitterer, trocken hopfiger Antrunk. Angenehm würzig, das Bier bleibt aber trocken. Wenig hefig, lang anhaltender hopfiger Nachhall. 10/10/9/9/11/9

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy golden, mid sized head. Grassy minerally nose. Dry with light-medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Grassy and minerally with light notes of marzipan. Grainy malt, really bitter finish. Not as elegant as I remember previous years - slight metallic edges are detected.

Draft glass @ Beerlovers Bar. Hazy orange, creamy soapy white head. Nose is very soapy, overly so, esters, orange peel, quite grainy, too much soapy & harsh esters. Taste is overly soapy, watery, bitter grains, unpleasant esters, bitter esters, lightly herbal, herbal, finish is copper pennies. Body is watery, poor esters, almost butter. Overly soapy, bit watery, unpleasant esters,… Not very pleasant & clear disappointment coming from De Ranke for me.

On tap @Buskers Pub (Rome). Dorata carica, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente.

Bottle (750ml): Almost clear and deep golden, visible carbonation, smaller - but vefy stable and creamy - white head; distinctive dryish grassy-hayish and slightly phenolic nose with an orangey-yeasty touch;moderate to almost solid dry bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied and - though pretty "dusty" - quite soft; lingering moderate to solid bitter finish, obviously some residual pale malt detectable, robust bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite good, but lacks subtle hoppy aromas...

Bottle shared with my family. Light hazy golden with nice lasting off white head. Lots of grassy hops, light herbs, light citrus peel, pils malts, soft spicy yeast. Under medium sweet and strong bitter. Medium bodied with a light creamy feel.
