Draught @ CBC 2016 [ Green Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Oksnehallen Vesterbro, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Sahtipaja Blueberry White Sour - Barrel Aged ].Unclear medium brown red color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, blueberry, moderate yeasty, dough, lacto. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, tart, blueberries, dry, dough, vinegar. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160514] 6-3-7-3-14

Cellar clean out session. As ’Ich Bin Ein Berliner BA’. Hazy dark purple beer, nice magenta head. Palate is light, dry and finely crisp. Tangy and intense blueberry, getting sourish. Some white chocolate/vanilla relief. Bourbon barrel is brings more tangy fruit. Light finish. Quite intense but pretty enjoyable.

Bouteille 33cl BB 30.06.2017. Thanks Timo. Ajout sur léger trouble, col rosé disparaissant vite. Arôme au nez Bourbon, vanille, fruité de myrtilles avec de belles effluves de Bourbon. Une fois arrivant sur la lie, le profil des myrtilles ressort nettement plus devant plus râpeux. Palais est finemetn aigre, note douce de vanille avec un profil plaisant de Bourbon qui vient contrebalancer le côte plu agressif-aigre des myrtilles. Facile à boire, et l’ajout de Bourbon balance le tout, certain trouveront la mise en fût trop facile, quant à moi, j’adhère. Comme sur l’autre version je ne trouve ici pas de chocolat blanc, tout comme je ne détectais ps de cannelle le version Rött men.

Tap@Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Copenhagen - amber coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is medium sour fruity with a plethora of berry fruits, light cocoa caress, nice bourbon soaked wooden notes into the close. Lovely.

33cl bottle. Semi-hazy ruby pour with no head. Smells like a blackberry juice. The taste is sour, with notes of macerated red fruit, whiskey, a bit of caramel, bourbon and sherry. A very unique and interesting beer, a bit unbalanced, though.

[5/14/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Green session. Deep purple with a pink head. Aroma of blueberries, wine, oak. Tart flavor, lactic, with lots of blueberries, some wine. Great stuff.
