Cloudy yellow, huge, airy white head. Aroma has grapefruit, orange, caramel and soapy or strangely herbal notes. Turns to dusty rubberbands later on. Citrusy, malty flavour. Lemon, a little citrus peel. Juicy with citric bitterness.

At a tasting, small bubbly head, cloudy palish yellow color, aroma of citrus with some onion and herbs, flavor of onion and shrubs with a fruity hint, medium shrubby bitterness, nicely balanced, zingy carbonation. Nice and enjoyable.

Stillwater Artisanal Spaced A low gravity IPA brewed with spelt and wheat 3.8% First off this brew smells fantastic with vibrant fruity hop notes, a bit candyish (think Tang), secondly this 500ml can was less than 700¥ so for Japan this is a good deal. Very pale gold with a thick head of soapy white foam. It is fairly full bodied for the ABV and gives crackery hardtack grainy notes with bright tangy juicy citrus notes. A really tasty Session IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

473ml can. Pale golden colour with a slight haze, small white head dissipating quickly. Mild fruity aroma, orange/lemon, light malts. Taste is mildly citrus, lemon, orange peel, light malts. Light bodied, soft-average carbonation. Very little to this but a nice enough and easy drinking SIPA.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/4/2017. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of ruby red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.8%. Overall this is an outstanding session IPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Quite tame on the lingering bitterness overall. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Extremely juicy citrus hops with a nice wheat/spelt malt backing. Tastes like Cascade/Amarillo, love the classic hop profile. A highly enjoyable offering.
