Blend #3 of Fuzzy uses a Missouri Wild Ale as a base that has been aging in one of our French Oak Foedres. We solera this Foedre, meaning that some of the beer in this blend of Fuzzy is almost 4 years old. If you have ever tried our "Foedre Beer" that often makes appearances on cask at The Side Project Cellar, you would have noticed that it expresses a beautiful level of stone fruit - rich apricot and delicate peach - that lays a great foundation for the white peaches in Fuzzy. We let Fuzzy re-ferment and age on the white peaches for 5 months, before bottling and naturally conditioning.

Pours clear pale blonde. Small white head. Smell is rich, fruity, mild oak. Fairly complex. Light and refined yet powerful in intensity. Taste is sharp, lactic tartness in a balanced intensity. Very juicy apricot flavor, very nice quality fruits, matching in perfection, blended in just as one would prefer ( that one, being me). Fairly 'juicy' body with a low average Carbo. Lactic acid back, with fruit layering trough. Very well made.

Bottle shared at Proper Sake. Thanks Hunter for this one! Pours a clearish straw gold with a full finger and a half of white foam that lingers. Fresh yellow peach and apricot aromas dominate the nose, as it warms some hay and barnyard aromas peek out as well. Great, crisp and bright carbonation with a slightly tannic mouthfeel. The peach fuzz is real on this. Light peach stone notes play off of the flesh to create wonderful balance. Not overly sweet, with grass, hay and cobweb mustiness sitting next to the peach tones. Lingering yellow peach flesh and skin on the finish.
