On tap at Of Love & Regret, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is very unusual, bringing out a strange mix of toasted malt, earthy and leathery funk. Flavour is quite vinegary, with earthy toasted malt, tons of balsamic and leather. I appreciate the experimentation but this just doesn't work.

Draft at Bert's in Millersville. Not sure why this is styled as lambic on here. Fortunately, the dark malts aren't bitter or roasty. Lots of thin undercarbed cherry soda. Very thin mouthfeel. My palate feels empty and robbed by the end of the beer. I should have learned my lesson.

Tap at Gnarly Barley keeping my style ticking rolling. Dark pour but with lambic stillness. Nose is dark fruit, malt and lambic funk. Tastes of prunes, lemon, roasted malt, barnyard. Interesting finish and nice body. Pretty good.

Tried at the Lord Hop, Nuneaton. Light roasted malt and fruit aroma with a touch of vinegar. Taste not subtle and a touch one dimensional.

Some roast and hints of dark fruit like blueberry, prune. Pours dark brown with ok head. Tangy finish with some oaky astringency. Unblended like a bad DJ. Tap at PIzzeria Paradiso.

Keg at the Reindeer, Norwich. Purplish-bkack, only slightly translucent. Funk and salt liquorice scent, but lovely. Intense yeasty sour taste, pervading the entire mouth. Sour berries and flat cola in the aftertaste. Hangs together wonderfully. A surprisingly good sour.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 4 - London. Pours clear reddish brown with a bubbly tan head. The aroma holds light vinegar, varnish, leathery berries and earth. Light sweet flavour with moderate acidity, some plum, fig, berries, touches of caramel and lemon. Light in body with fine carbonation; decent condition. Drying on the finish, a little grassy, with more earth, lemon and modest acetic bite. Pretty OK.

4th December 2015
Pigs Ear Day 4. Cask. Clear deep amber - brown beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light with a pleasant amount of fine carbonation. A reasonable amount of gueuzey lemon sourness, not overdone. A fairly mild dark malt character. Sourish dark fruits. A tangy finish. Pretty drinkable and a decent effort at pulling of the dark sour style.
