Dark brown, has a deep fruity aroma with some nice rich chocolate and roast. Thick, sweet and rich, with some dark sugars, and again a good fruity character and an almost smoky roast character.

16 ounce can. Opaque black color. Frothy tan head. Clinging lace. Earthy roasted malt nose. Notes of black licorice and treacle. Sweet roasted malt flavor. Notes of bittersweet chocolate and more licorice. Sticky mouthfeel. Rich and complex with warming alcohol notes in finish. Very good.

Can. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Dark roasted malt, hints of vanilla. Taste: Dark roasted malt, subtle notes of cocoa, liquorice, mocha. Hints of espresso and light hints of vanilla and ash. Long lasting finish. Moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Full body, soft carbonation. Bit oily and creamy mouthfeel. Bit sticky. Slightly boozy. An Imperial Stout as it should be. Very Nice.

On tap at Of Love & Regret, pours black with a medium light brown head. Aroma is loaded with robust roasted malt, a touch of espresso, and a touch of dry cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium roast, a touch of espresso and cocoa. Creamy and roasty. Very nice.
