Bottle, 10C. Hazy gold with a fat coat of white head. Aroma is feisty and boozy with greengages, sultanas, candied oranges, marzipan. Full bodied, lowish carbonation. Spices (vanilla, cloves, white pepper), a moderate amount of overt alcohol and bitterness combine to keep it from being cloying. Layers of fruit - overripe, dried - gentle fortified notes that for me are more Muscat than Port. A little oak and tannin at the end. Compelling.

33cl bottle at Sandar Haandverksbryggeri - Brygghuset, Sandefjord. Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Sweet, malty and slightly fruity with honey and hints of caramel and wood. Sweet and slightly vinous with a rather mild bitterness. Feels a bit like dessert wine. Decent winter warmer.

Smell of oak, red wine. Muddy light brown colour, white head which diminishes quickly. Aroma of alcohol, oak, red wine, overripe fruit. Colour does not reflect flavour. Lively carbon, surprisingly non-oily texture. Heavy body. Mostly sweet, finish is somewhat bitter. Rather mixed feelings, and mixed flavours.

A little bit to much sherry/wine profile. Otherwise a quite nice evening sipper.
Nice unclear yellow golden color with a fine white head. A bit to much sherry and wine in the aroma. Medium to full body. A little bit fizzy texture at first. Well masked alcohol. Rich sherry/wine profile in the flavor. Also fruity, some spices, yeast and oak.

Brewed 21.08.2013. A red notes in the yellow beer, a head is quite big and blond. Aroma is interesting and unique, riped fruits, grapes, madeira wine, raisins, barrel and alcohol. Taste has raisins, riped and dried fruits, some grapes and barrel. Warming end. Full bodied, some lightening carbonation. Concentrated fruits and characters of wine, rich and unique beer.

330ml bottle, batch 1016, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Fragile white layer to a dark golden body, next to clear. Spotty lacing. Cork, oak, and herbal hops on the nose. Potpourri of fresh, tart, and dried fruits to the taste buds. Peach, apricot, basement and candy sweetness. Dry bittersweet ending, slightly vinous. Well balanced and full bodied. Soft on the swallow. Refreshing sipper on a lazy Saturday afternoon (Tromsø 03.10.2015).

Sampled from bottle @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Dark brown color with a deep dark red glare coming through, full sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, red wine, wood, sweet, overripe fermenting apples and brown candy sugar. Decent body and carbonation. Hmm "tis het eik toch krèk nie".
