33cl Bottle from Sterk. Clear golden amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma of sweet malts, dried fruits, alcohol, yeast, banana, candied fruits. Flavour is medium sweet, fruit esters, !malty, creamy, fruity, toffee, yeasty, dry, light spicy, alcohol, bitter finish. Medium to full bodied, creamy mouthful, soft carbonation. I liked it.

Draught@In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. ARoma is fruity, floral, wooden, toffeeish and some mild funky notes to it as well. Flavour is quite similar, but also has quite nice spices and a bit of alcohol to it. A bit gluelike as it warms up. Not exactly a tripel, and not a saison, but more of a gluelike Belgian Strong Ale.

Clear medium amber, average loose frothy off-white head, diminishing slowly, good lacing; sweet malty aroma, grain, toasted, caramel, candy sugar, dried fruits; taste medium sweet, light bitter, malty, bit sugary; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste sweetbitter, roasty and light spicy notes, some alcohol; not a Tripel, not a Saison, but a decent ale.

Sampled draft @ Arendsnest during Carnivale Brettanomyces #4. Light orange, creamy white head. Nose is dull grain, white sugar, peach esters, sugar, dull,… Taste is dull grain, sugar, malt, soap, candy, sweetish, light esters,… Body is sugar, grainy,… Quite boring. Nothing objectionable. Acceptable. (Thanks for sharing Kermis, Maakun & tlahav).

Draft at Arendsnest. Pours clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma of yeast, cardboard, light caramel, herbs and light fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Draught @ In de Wildeman. Aroma has hayish grain, some resiny notes and malt. Flavour has woody tones, cranberry juice, some resin and mild citrus tones. Tripel? Saison? Unable to locate either one. Perhaps there are some saisony yeast tones and mild soapy tripel, but I would take this as an Belgian amber with saison yeast added. Also warming alcohol tones in the finish. Not sure what to think about this, some Mc Chouffe vibes in this one.
