Draft at Beer Temple. Pours dark brown with a ring brown head. Aroma of massive coffee, roast, dark chocolate, licorice and caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Opaque brown color, small brownish head. Aroma is cellary with toasted notes and coffee. Full-bodied. Flavor is much better than the aroma: nice chocolate, roasted flavor with soft palate. Some coffee beans too. Ok toasted imperial stout, but not really top one in Nogne scale. Maybe bottles are different.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chili, dark chocolate, and a bit of soy. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, chilis, and dark chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish with a slight chili burn.

Big dark brown head. Opaque black body. Roasty chocolatey coffee beans aroma with mealy earthy notes. Sweet and faintly acidic earthy chocolatey taste with roasty mealy oily notes. Full-bodied. Mild, soft, slightly mealy mouthfeel. Sweetish chocolatey roasty mealy aftertaste with oily coffee notes. Nice, balanced and harmonic, quite drinkable. (0.5l bottle, from Tore N.)

Bottle from Den Nordiske Ølhandel, bought in April 2015. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, some chocolate and light fruit. Similar taste. Smooth and quite easy to drink, not heavy at all. A nice one.

Almost black beer, a head is quite small and light brown. Aroma has black coffee, salt liquirice, sweet fruitness and some nutchocolate. Brilliant aroma. Taste is intensive but also nice and calm. Coffee, roastiness, some liquirice and nuts, nice sweetness but not so much as in the aroma. Herbal bitterness is drying the taste but it’s not so strenght. Full bodied, not heavy, smooth enough. The great aroma and enjoyable beer, intensive but that’s not decreasing the drinkability.
