Pours pinkish orange and chunky with a minimal head. The aroma is of tropical fruit, most notably the guava. The flavor is very fruity, tart with malty sweetness. Again the guava is most prominent to me with the other fruits noticeable but more in the background. Very tasty.

Can, tons of sludge int he bottom, stirring it makes things worse IMO. If you DONT do that, you get a hazy yellow pour with a medium white head and good lacing. Aroma is guava forward with passionfruit notes. Flavor is light tart and a bit sharp.

Guava, banana, passion fruit, malt, and grass aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with minimal head. Mildly sweet guava/banana/passion fruit, malt, moderately sour citric acid, and mild bitter grass flavor. Good body.

Tip Tap draught, 10/7/22. Moderately-to-heavily hazy, blonde-golden. Small, off-white head with good retention. Really beautiful, pink guava-forward nose is juicy, but well-attenuated/macerated/aged. Sourness from bacteria is light and also well-aged, making the beer really round, aromatic and clean with just a touch of real banana and hints of funky, acidic, juicy passion fruit. Soft wheat and biscuit/cracker malt with no alcohol or flaw. Soft and juicy, really tart, bright, fruity guava is incredibly well-done. Everything is attenuated and the beer is on the drier side. Juicy, with soft banana and light passion fruit. Honey, biscuit, cracker, white bread and mild sourness. Tart, dry, juicy, funky. Really well-done fruit here.

12 oz. Aroma is guava, passionfruit, banana in order of intensity--smells great. Pours hazy pale golden with a one finger off-white crackling head that collapses into nothing after a couple minutes. Taste is moderately to highly sour (8/10) with lots of tropical fruit flavor; the banana comes through more strongly in flavor. Alcohol is hidden extremely well; tastes like it could be as low as 4 or 5% ABV. Really tasty.

Can from explosivedog: pours pinkish orange with a small head. Aroma is loads of guava... not sure if I can get much banana. Taste is lightly sour, with loads of guava. Sole beer backbone but this is a real fruit bomb.

Can. Pours hazy orange. Passionfruit, huge guava, little banana, touch of pepper, good tartness, super fruity, still some cereal beer taste too. Nice prickly carbonation. I continue to be impressed by these Urban Artifact sours. Good.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/5/2019. Pours opaquely hazy medium orange/amber/light reddish color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge juicy/tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin/seeds, banana, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, papaya, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Amazing aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of passion fruit, pink guava, banana, fruity/acidic yeast and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge juicy/tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin/seeds, banana, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, papaya, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy pink guava, passion fruit, fruit skin/seeds, banana, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, papaya, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, berries, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of passion fruit, pink guava, banana, fruity/acidic yeast and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with zero puckering sourness after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.7%. Overall this is an amazing fruited kettle sour! All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of passion fruit, pink guava, banana, fruity/acidic yeast and bready malt flavors; dangerously smooth and refreshing to drink for the ABV, with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, mellowly lactic. Amazing balance of super juicy/jammy fruit and Lacto complexity; with a nice sized wheat/malt backbone against acidity. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and top tier quality kettle sour all around.
