Bottle at the "Lets celebrate the fact that Dean is already the Mayor of M&S Den Haag even though it’s only been open for 24 hours tasting!". Poured a hazy dark brown with a a thin broken off white head. The aroma is sweet malt. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a malt hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to benzai. Pours brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate and fudge. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Not a nice brew.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and chocolate. Bitter, roasted malty and caramelish. Mild chocolate and toasted malty.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, citrus and hops.

Bottle 500ml. clear glass @ chriso [ chrisos festive get-together tasting ].Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, shoe polish, malt extract. Flavour is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111230]

10th June 2008. 2 months past BBE date. Very dark brown ale. Slightly sour and slightly toasted malt. Dry minerally finish. A bit different.
