Bottled 4/10/19, drunk 7/13/21. Clear, light bronze-straw. White head is small and quickly runs to the edges. Lovely acidity in the nose mixes with moderate grape character. Very juicy and joined by rich, honey-like notes from the malt. Musty cellar and plentiful mineral with complexity from the lacto. Grapes aren't overdone, but I imagine fresh they must have been quite strong. No alcohol or flaw noted. In the mouth, it's lightly sweet, with buttery oak complementing rich, honeyed malts that are fairly well-attenuated. Grape acidity and flavor quickly balances with growing acidity climaxing strongly on the finish. My biggest complaint here is the buttery oakiness which dampens the brightness (though it does help balance the strong acidity). Just too sweet, overall, as well. Not as much finesse as I'd expect, but then, I've never been a huge fan of grape beers, finding the execution to be extremely difficult.

Bottle from Chris M: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is hints of grape some apricot notes. Taste is fairly sour, especially when you start but the sweet fruitiness comes out at the finish.

Draught @ Beer Run (9/12/19). Hazy bright yellow with small frothy off-white head, woodsy grape aroma, medium carbonation, sour grape taste with light woodsy flavor, thin body, long sour finish. Quite biting sourness.
