We make Wit The Funk with tradition in mind. Brewed with orange peel and coriander and fermented with wit yeast, brettanomyces, and our Terreux house mixed culture. Aged in oak foeders until final maturation, the result is a complex beer that's tart, funky, oaky, citrusy, and super drinkable. Sure, it takes longer, but WTF? It's worth it.

Pour is a cloudy amber with a loud fizzy white head. Aroma is some orange peel with some brett funk tartness. Flavor is pretty much all sweet-tart candy. Citrusy but again very tart. I don't get any oak. Not a typical wit with the brett making this tart as all get out. I'm not really a fan of the tart/sour beers so my score may be a bit off. If sour ales are your thing you may like this a bit more than me.

Sampled at Snallygaster 2019. Poured a hazy/cloudy dark yellow, light orange color with a samll white head. Aroma was light tartness, some mild sour notes. Flavor was light tart, touch of grain, with a little bit of orange peel and coriander.

Tap@SKAAL, Copenhagen ØJ-dag (31/10/2019) - golden yellow with a white head. Medium sour fruity with notes of orange rind, some lemon, orange, yeasty note, bretty undertones, medium body, spiced fruity finish.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of brett, coriander, wheat, and oranges. The flavor is a bit acidic with notes of brett, coriander, wheat, and oranges, leading to a tart finish.

Cloudy blond colour. It has a sharp citrus character, but also some funk and timid Lambic qualities. A bit short in the finish. Not overly complex, but surely more than expected.
