12 ounce bottle thanks to hershiser2. 1/8/20. Dark brown large tan head, fair retention. Aroma of raisin and roast. Kinda weak. Taste is toffee, caramel, plum, cherry, a bit of spice. Medium bodied, well hidden booze. Nice.

Draught @ Ginger Man - NYC. Pours clear dark copper-red, beige dense foamy head, very faint caramel aroma, low carbonation, bitter caramel taste with dried fruits flavor, thin smooth body, medium finish. Smooth and easy to drink.

12oz bottle pours a dark, garnet amber with some ringing off white head. Nose has dates, candy sugar, raisins, fruit cake, dried cherries. Flavor is well balanced, dark candi sugar, marzipan, dates, raisins, caramel, pumpernickel. Finishes sweet, full bodied and sticky.

Draft pour at Hops N' Shine. Poured a slightly clear, dark amber color with a medium sized, slightly off-white head. Aroma was a blast of sweet malts. Light toasted, roasted notes. Flavor was sweet malts, roast. Smooth. There's a little bit of alcohol here, but it's quite pleasant. Very crisp and clean.
