150ml draught in a kupa at Ardbeg Embassy. Almost clear amber coloured body. Firm beige tophead blanketing the glass. Dried fruity nose. Plums, dark grapefruit, and apricot flavours added by mid-sweet malts. Bittersweet fruity tail. Full bodied, still quite easy to drink. Enjoying on Midsommardagen in Stockholm 22.06.2013.

Small offwhite head. Clear amber body. Perfumy spicy fruity aroma with lavender and blackberry notes. Dry-sweet floral resiny strawberry taste with pineapple and spice notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish resiny pineapple aftertaste with earthy spicy fruity notes. Nice, drinkable, mellow. Maybe a bit too drinkable for a beer of this strength. (0.33l draft at Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg, Sweden.)

On tap at Ardberg Embassy. Clear amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Sweetish malt, touch of caramel. Good semi sweet pine hops followed by medium bitter tangerine and orange. Touch of crystallised fruits. Finishes semi dry with a bitter-sweet pine aftertaste. Good stuff!

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Stockholm, Vasagatan
Dark amber color, clean, with creamy persistent head. The aroma is both earthy (manure) and fruity (passion fruit, oranges, light durian). Full bodied, with round but lean mouthfeel; sweet malt flavor, with a very nice fruit candy feeling, and citrus fruits hopping (oranges and tangerines); it also has a vague earthy character; long final, where some resins appear more.
Excellent, quite drinkable for its size.

Bottle passed on when we met Ian, Rune & Finn at Kernel earlier this month I believe. I believe that Ian was the generous person who passed this on, cheers Ian! I decided to retire from rating back in October 2012, however will occasionally rate when people have been kind enough to pass on beer or if I just fancy it. Consumed Sunday 24th November 2012 Quite thick in the mouth, the style is American but this doesn’t suffer from being too sickly sweet, in fact it is quite decent. I was surprised at the lack of carbonation, there was some but not a lot. If a DIPA can be floral in the mouth, then this was. Some sweet citrus flavours, lasting and increasing bitterness does more than enough to counter the sweetness and thick mouthfeel. Good DIPA thanks Ian. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov15 3.6

Bottle at Sjätte Tunnan. Clear, deep amber liquid with medium, firm off-white head. Aroma of grass, passion fruit, pine, sweet tropical fruit, biscuit and caramel. On the maltier side. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of passion fruit, grass and grain. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Too sweet for the style and also quite grainy and grassy.
