[9/22/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Bottle in some bar in Malmo. Clear amber color with a medium beige head. Great citrusy hoppy aroma. Bitter hoppy flavor with grapefruit, pine and a bit of slightly cookie-ish sweetish malt in the background. Medium-bodied. A really good IPA.

Thanks benzai for sharing this one. Amberish colour. Smells honey, bit sweet. Tastes bitter, hoppy, and citrussy - but not enough for me. Okay carbo, sticky.

Lätt doft av whiskey, mycket grape och den där lite blöta känslan som färsk humle kan ge. Mycket amerikansk humle och rejäl beska. Riktigt fin.

Thanks to Tkrjukoff for this bottle! Clear light amber / dark orange color, almost no head. Smell is a bit weak and soft for an IPA. Taste as well, bit weak and soft. Soft carbonation, low to medium body.

Bottle, KØ11. Cloudy amber/brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is a little spicy, perhaps from the hops. Some nice maltiness, a little spicy also, like some rye beers.

On draft at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockhom. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and citrus. Flavor also malty without too much hops and bitterness. Would have preferred more bitterness in an IPA (Rate offline 2011/04/19)

hazy red-amber, smooth yellow head. Pretty damn dark for an IPA. very fruity aroma, also loads of flowery hops, and some bitter hops. reminds me of other scandinavian ipa’s, it is not entirely like an american ipa. Also sweet malts and syrup or honey in the aroma. flavor is caramelly, honey, malty, flowery, bitter hoppy (herbal bitterness). A bit messy and lots of strange flavors, but pretty strong and in-your-face. Definetly better tastng than if it was just boring. Still can’t help thinking that something’s wrong with it. The caramelly and fruity notes are strong in this one, master yoda.

Draught at The Rover, Göteborg. Poured a dark red/amber/brown body with a big off white head that went away slowly. Soft maltiness vs. herbal aromatic hops, slightly acidic in the nose. Same in the taste, only with more grain, some bubblegum and a light hoppy bitterness.
