Brewed with a generous amount of Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Centennial hops, the aroma is full of tropical fruit notes. Pouring a hazy golden yellow, mouthfeel is extremely soft with aromas of mango, papaya, and berries. Flavors of juicy grapefruit, orange, and melon with minimal hop bitterness on the finish.

Fairly hazy deep copper and orange coloured body with a nice, two to three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of big citrus fruits, a herbal and grassy bite, but a ton of candy-like sweetness from the hops here with lemons and peaches also noticeable - very nice and pungent with a robust alcohol and malt balance noticeable as well in the nose at least. Medium-bodied; Very rich malt body with a lot of melons, papaya and earthy notes that show a lot of depth, but the hops are noticeable here in a pungent and dank way with a noticeable mango and tangerine bite that has some bitterness, but not overwhelming in any way. Aftertaste shows some rich pungency from the hops with a nice complexity from the alpha acids and a crisp maltiness that is balanced nicely without too much of the alcohol coming through. Overall, a nice almost Imperial IPA that is very rich and robust with a ton of tropical fruits, especially citrusey fruit notes along with a dry bite, but sweetness that persists and somehow blends well with the bitterness from the hops. Nice to try and well-recommended for the style and for the alcohol, with a lot of flavours and complexity for the style. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Bread and Honey (8th Ave @ 50th St) in New York, New York on 20-December-2020 for US$7,00 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-June-2021.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy yellow. Mango, little bubblegum, soap, pineapple, little honey, quite floral. Good body. Not up to the standard of the top NY haze makers, but it's actually a refreshing change to try something that's doing a very different take on the style.

Draught at the IC location: pours slightly hazy with a white head. Aroma is a sort of general fruitiness and some malts. Taste is sweet at first, then a mild bitterness to finish. Relatively smooth. Uneventful.

Tap at brewpub. Hazy orange colour, tiny white head. Quite neutral aroma: dank and some fruits. Medium-bodied. Overriped tropical fruits, light dankyness in the flavour. Hides abv reasonably welll. Not the most typical nyc ddh. Ok.
