Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a semi-cloudy subtle golden to yellow color with a two finger’s worth of white foamy head. Couple rings of sticky foamy lace against the glass, looked real nice.
The aroma had bitter and sweet citrusy to grassy hops flowing over a nice cracker sweet malty base.
The flavor blended the previously mentioned aromas together nicely. Adequate bitter hoppiness hits the spot in the aftertaste to move sweet and bitter on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt as intended by the brewer.
Overall, very nice India pale lager that I would have again. Woulnd’t mind doing a side by side with Von Trapp’s or Jack’s Abby.

Pours hazy straw into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Soft with lemon and melon upfront turning to mild banana before the lasting pith finish.

5/3 canning batch drunk 5/9 and 5/11/16.
Lovely pale, white golden with straw/hay tones and a white head atop showing modest retention. Slightly hazy (the second can definitely sat cold for a few days).
White grape, nectarine, honey, cracker and light lemon all blend seamlessly. Ok, so far so good....
Diving right in to the beer, the carbonation is ample and mostly engaging. Again with the light white grape and with a big angel food cake-like maltiness to balance. Honeysuckle, delicate citrus and such with black pepper and various herbal qualities lingering. Wow, this is quite a unique beer and a lot to take in. There’s some slight sourdough/dough-like character that I think is from too much yeast in suspension, so I actually bought a second can and let it sit very cold for three or four days. Didn’t really help. So that’s my only real problem. Otherwise, it might have just a bit too much body/maltiness for me. But the hop flavors/aromatics are incredibly unique and enjoyable. Definitely want to try this on draught. This is definitely more of a Premium lager in the sense of what this site goes by, so I’m rating it to that. This is obviously not trying to compete with yuengling and corona (I assume that’s what wicked bueno is doing).

Can purchased at 7 Eleven, Kittery ME. Pours a hazy gold with some light head retention. Aroma shows bready malt, light lager yeast and grassy and mild citrus hops.

Flavor has a slightly hoppy profile with a mild malt backbone that makes you think your drinking and American Pale Ale. The citrus and grassy hops come through in a mild manner. Moderate lasting bitterness. Carbonation is low and gives a soft mouthfeel. I see what the brewer was aiming for here but not quite the mastery of a hopped lager. Still pleasant and no issues.
