17th Aug 2020, monthly beer share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury (just four of us on this one). Cheers Simon for the 500ml bottle of this, our first beer of the tasting. Black bodied, beige head, thin and semi-malty feel to it. Third Stout, third Porter, third dirty Water.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, August 2020. Thanks Simon for bringing this. Pours black, small off-white head. Aroma has light grainy malt. Taste brings nutty cola with dark grainy murmurs, soft roast, fairly light-bodied almost more like a schwarzbier than a stout. Not unpleasant but a long way from a typical stout character.

Bottle at some bar in Oludeniz. Pours dark ruby with creamy beige head. Served ice cold as lager so had to wait for a while. Dull nose. Taste has some roasted malts, burnt sugar, metal. Meh..

Bottle 50 cl at Seven Seas Side, Turkey. Mild aroma of burned malt, straw and coffee. Light bitter with a ok burned malt Finnish.

Bottle. Dark brown color, yellowish foam. Aroma: caramel, malt, grain, slightly burnt sourness. Taste: caramel, with light roasted sourness, malty.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish brown with small beige foamy head, roasted malt aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter caramel taste, thin body, medium finish. Thin and watery.

clear brown colour, large and quite stable beige-ish head, aroma of coffee latte, roasted rye bread, burnt nuts and some chocolate, taste has the same notes; a bit watery but is is fully acceptable for a stout; correct
