650 yen for a half pint at the CBB Saison Fair. It poured a very light gold with a thin foamy head. The aroma was spicy and a bit dank. The flavor was crisp dry, bitter in the middle and very refreshing. I’d definitely have this again.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and huge foamy head. Fresh citric and lemony aroma with a delicately grainy malty touch, backed by spicy Belgian yeast. Mildly bitter flavour, light bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Rather dry pale malt-character with wheaty and citrus-fruity notes, accompanied by herbal hoppy spice; dry and slim, also moderately bitter hoppy and yeasty finish. Smells good, while the taste is rather unexciting. 10.IV.13

33cl Bottle from De Hopduvel, Gent. Milky pale yellow colour, fluffy white head. Aroma of straw, bread, dry pale malts, dry earth, yeast, light citrus. Flavour is dry, light sweet, light floral, pale malts, light spices, some bread, hops, light metallic, dry malty and light hoppy finish, lemon. Light-bodied, almost watery, slightly over-carbonated. Nice thirstquencher.

ZBF Festival 2013 - Hazy, pale blond appearance. Aroma is of fresh ’green’ hop. It’s very fresh tasting and thirst quenching . Flavour is moderately hoppy with some pale malt in the background. Great to have so much flavour from such a low alcohol beer.

Bottle: Golden with an orangey sheen, hazy, stable beaten-egg-white-like head, grapefruity hops, yeast and orange-peel in the nose, a tinge of toasted malt seems to be included; pretty dry bitter flavour, light bodied and a bit fizzy; lingering dry bitter-hoppy finish with a slight yeasty touch. O.K., nothing to complain…

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 04/2014
Aroma is yeasty and fruity with hops, citrus and some pineapple. Foamy palate is too high on CO2.. Flavour is a bit watery with citrus, yeasty notes and fruits. Also a vichy‐like feeling typical to low ABV beers. The aroma was nice but it seems that 4.4% is just not enough for this style.

25 cl. draft in Belgoo glass @ Bier Circus // quite a nice looking glass // hazy golden with a solid, stable, lacing white head, nice looking // taste is refreshing, lots of fresh & refreshing citrus, softer lovely malts, almost wheat like, dash Belgian yeast & some fruitier, citrus hops, touch fruity // lovely body & very easy going, taste & bit fake & macro-like but who cares, this is delicious & drinks supper easy
