Chocolatey robust porter brewed with fig leaves from our garden. Unlike the fruit, fig leaves give a coconut flavor with a touch of baking spice similar to cinnamon and clove. Finishes dry with notes of gingerbread.

Bottle. A- Roasty, cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Roasty, mild wood, cocoa. P- Medium body, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Not much fig or juniper either. Good enough porter but lacked much of the flavor profile I wanted.

On tap at The Beer Temple. Pours a dark brown with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong fig, dark fruit, cocoa, spice. Slick body, raisin, fig, spice, light dry finish, very good.

Draught @ City Hops. Opaque dark brown with very small frothy of-white head that soon flops leaving a ring, mocha aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter, slightly sour roasted malt/coffee taste with grassy flavor, thin body, medium finish. Not bad, not great either.

12oz hand bottle from Strykzone pours a watery dark brown with some spitty white head. Nose has malt, grape jelly, fig newton, raisin, caramel. Flavor is sweet with fig, raisin, some cherry cola, caramel, some toffee chew. Finishes a bit watery, but unique.
