16 oz. purchased at The Beer Store, Southhampton, PA. Full thick tan head on a black liquid. Aroma is layered malt; coffee, chocolate, roasted malt.
This is quite a well made classic imperial stout. Full / thick/ creamy mouthfeel. Good roasted backbone with ash, chocolate, and burnt barley. When cold, alcohol is concealed.

Can @ Malt & Mold. Pours dark brown with reddish tint against the light, beige creamy head, cocoa-mocha aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter dark chocolate taste with faint coffee flavor, smooth body, long dark chocolate finish. Good stout; not syrupy or soya sauce-like.

16 ounce can from Free Will tasting room in Peddler's Village. Number one with a bullet. Opaque black with a brief tan head. Roasty malt nose. Intense chocolate and espresso flavors. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Noticeable burnt sugar notes. Warming alcohol as well. A decent representation of a straight ahead Imperial Stout that doesn't gave oak, chocolate or coffee influences. Quite a refreshing change.
