Fractal Vic Secret pours hazy-straw yellow releasing aromas of pineapple, pine and passionfruit. The taste is fruity, clean and earthy with a light bitterness. The medley of characteristics makes the name “Fractal Vic Secret” warranted indeed.

Draught at Row 34, 2/28/18.
Fully hazy, though not soupy. Solid and turbid with a light straw-to-mild-gold color. Very full, white head atop with strong retention.
Orange juice and/or tangerine juice comes out swinging, proclaiming this juicy, citrusy, soft, succulent hop for all to smell. Some light honey and biscuit behind it stays out of the way but gently balances. Very clean with no pine, no resin and no alcohol. Just soft, pure, aromatic, juicy hop. A touch of underlying minerality increases complexity and enjoyment, adding another element to the nose.
In the mouth it's soft, fuzzy, juicy, dry and malty. Reminds very much of Hill Farmstead and Tree House in its not-overdone yeast character. Only light bubble gum with a shot of late bitterness. Tangerine juice notes through and through. A slight touch of papaya/peach twang is the only complaint I can muster and that's just barely noticeable. Otherwise, absolutely lovely and near-flawless. Tight, engaging carbonation, soft, supple texture and no alcohol or flaw.

Can, by way of a trade. Thick as a bag, pale, milky gold. Film and dense ring of fully lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has creamy oats. Ripened pineapple. Pithy orange. Hint of bright herb. Some twang of lemon and lime. Taste has a sharp, clean, twang of bitterness. A touch of lippy sweetness. Mouthfeel is pretty dry and slightly tart. Soft carbonation. Finish has more pithy citrus than you could shake a stick at, with that twang remaining throughout. Missus wasn’t at all keen, but I enjoyed this a lot.

Draught @ City Hops. Hazy bright yellow with foamy off-white head, citrus peel aroma with pineapple, medium carbonation, mildly bitter, sourish citrus/pineapple taste, thin body, long sour citrus peel finish. Citrus bomb.

Pours a slightly hazy, muddy yellow, with smallish head. Aroma of citrus and grass. Flavor is grassy, with citrus notes, and a rather astringent finish. Not my favorite, but not bad.
