Decently hazy honey golden coloured body with a rich, fairly soapy tan and off-white head that stays afloat for a very ong time and is at least four centimetres tall. Aroma of grassy and funky malt notes with biscuits, grain and a deep yeast bite that shows well, with an astringent and strong alcohol scent at the very end, that also shows some fruit sweetness. Medium-bodied; Deep robust and pungent yeast and biscuity malt notes that hit with a lot of astringency and almost medicinal flavours with some subdued hop bitterness and a bit of fruit and peppery/herbal finish and no sweetness or balance at all here. Aftertaste shows the deeply bittering and herbal notes, a lot of biscuity and lager yeast (I know this is an ale!), with the peppery and dry flavours that show the hops (I don't like the varietal) along with a dry herbaceous finish. Overall, a decent enough IPA, but I don't care for the biscuity malt notes nor the hop type here (It feels like Azacca), but for others, it should be an okay beer. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 23-June-2019 for US$4,29 sampled at home in Washington on 03-September-2019 when my kids and wife went back to school for the year!

Can from brewery on 8/25, drunk 8/31/17.
Light-to-moderate haziness. Maize-golden with a small, modestly well-retained, white head.
Rather citric and piney up front, garnering unexcited first impressions. Biscuity, sparse, crackery malts behind it do not impede and it eventually, with some warming, allows some lush, dense, spicy, dank notes to emerge. No alcohol or flaw.
Very "thick" in texture with a dextrinous, chewy body that is nonetheless well-attenuated. Almost no honey-like sweetness, which would actually be beneficial to combat some of the slightly twangy, strongly citric hops. Again, it softens somewhat on the end with light pineapple-mango juiciness and spicy, dank character. Competent, if rather unexciting.

Can. Pours hazy pale yellow with small foamy whitish head, faint lemon peel aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter resinous lemon peel taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Nice but a bit too bitter.
