12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/2/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.1%. Overall this is an excellent NE DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Really great showcase of Chinook and Amarillo. Balanced juicy/dank hop complexity, fruity Conan yeast, and bready malts. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12 oz can purchased at Cappy’s in Norwood, Ohio. 11/2/17 on bottom of the can. 11 days old when consumed. The pour is a hazed yellow orange with a smallish white head that leaves nice lace. The aroma is grassy, floral, citrus hops along with caramel malt and evident alcohol heat. The taste is a smooth balance between the clean super fresh floral grass and citrus hops, the cracker malt, bitter peel and some wheat grain character to the finish. The palate is medium bodied, with unfiltered mouth feel and the bitterness and nicely integrated alcohol in the finish, easy drinking big IPA.

On draught at Kraft House No. 5 during the "Platform Tap Takeover feat. Hubris Triple IPA" event on 04/20/2017. The beer is a slightly cloudy orange color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of citrus, herbal hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, herbal hops and doughy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering fruity hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
