A malty beer with a delicate hop finish. Distinct and apparent Belgian yeast profile.

On tap at the brewpub after some Pokemon go trekking off the highline, Jan '19. Tulip. Slightly disturbed but not really cloudy, brown; lacy head. Herbal, banana estery nose. Smells a bit hot. Toasty, dry malt. Thick with not so Belgian yeast notes at first, but becomes very obvious in a few minutes. Mild, lingering, herbaceous hops. Strong carb, not a ton of chew, boozy. Okay. A messy version of the style.

Draught @ the source. Murky reddish copper with very small frothy beige head, very faint malty aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter caramel malt taste, thin body, medium caramel finish. Not exciting.

Tap at brewpub. Amber pour thin head. Nose is malt and lemon. Tastes malty, lemon, light hopping, some orange Belgian yeast, little koolaid. Thin bodied and low carbonation. Not as successful as first brew I tried from these folks.
