Pours a clear, golden yellow, with mid-sized, frothy head. Aroma is grassy, bready, with some fruit. Flavor is slightly fruity--the pineapple is noticeable--with some citrus and slight hop bitterness to the finish. Pretty smooth and well-balanced beer. Tasty.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark orange with large foamy off-white head, citrus peel aroma, medium carbonation, bitter citrus peel taste with pineapple flavor at the background, thin body, long bitter finish with a bit of coconut aftertaste. The aftertaste is not too good.

4 oz. sample at El Bait Shop, De Monies, Iowa. Color is a hazed copper. Aroma is spot on pineapple juice and mild coconut. Even a hint of citrus. Flavor is exactly what the brewer wanted. Medium bodied, with a mild bitterness to cut the juice.
The thing I like most is it doesn’t get to overly sweet. Isn’t straight fruit puree. The hop profile is just balanced enough to remind you that you are in fact drinking an IPA.

Interesting idea that looks and smells great but in the final test of flavor is kind of weird and doesn’t really taste so good. I like a large variety of things and this just doesn’t cut it.
