Aroma of roasted malts, peat, oak, coffee, charred wood, whiskey. Flavour is sweet and smokey, roasty and peaty. Body is thick and mouthfeel is sticky. Wonderfully intense like most other Emelisse White Label brews.

Bottle from ABC beers, thanks Deanso! Chocolate, tobacco and peat in the aroma. Full bodied. Peat, cigars, dark chocolate and mocha coffee in the sweet but quite complex flavor. Oak. Well balanced in spite of the extreme flavors. Delicious!

Bottle shared, thanks to Bierkoning for the bottle! Nice! Very dark brown with some dark beige bubbles. Lots of licorice, soft molasses, coffee, quite some whisky and a bit of peat. Quite dry woody whisky with a bit of smoke, but not a full on peated Scotch. Some sweet dark berries and caramel, earthy and some miso. Overall it’s quite sweet with over medium bitterness and a quite umami finish. Almost full bodied with low carbonation. Great balance, very nice beer.

Bottle at Maakun’s, thanks! Best before 03/14. Black with little tan ring. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, massive peat, whisky, rye, licorice, soy sauce, oysters, moldy oak wood. Moderate sweet and big bitter. Nice roasty and dense. Full body, and little carbonation. Lot of complexity going on still for this old boy. Shout out to Edo too, cool to try! --- Beer merged from original tick of White Label Imperial Russian Stout Bunnahabhain Barrel Aged on 09 Feb 2018 at 08:51 - Score: 8

330ml bottle. Pours pitch black with no head. Aroma of peaty malts, leather, whisky, roastiness, wood and oak. Taste is peaty, sweet and woody with some oak, leather, whisky and earthiness. Finish is slick, peaty and sweetish with loads of wood, whisky, oak and leather. Intense, very peaty, but still pretty smooth and slick.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. ABV is 11%, 75 EBU. Black colour, minimal tan head. Aroma of roast malts, peated whisky, tar and iodine. Low carbonation. Sweet flavour, but the peat soon overpowers the sweetness. Notes of tar, liquorice and iodine.

330ml bottle thanks to Aristotelis. Black color with dark beige head. Malty smoked aroma, iodine, band-aid, peat, wood, some alcohol, chocolate in the background along with licorice and coffee notes. Sweet and bitter smoked taste like aroma. Medium to full oily body with soft carbonation.
