On tap at I'm happy, Chiang Mai. Thin off white head. Clear black pour. Lovely chocolate aftertaste.

On tap at Hair of the Dog Phrom Phung, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa powder and toasted malt. Flavour is aggressive on the palate, with dry cocoa powder and dry toasted malt. Aggressive carbonation, almost like a champagne. Strange but it works.

On keg at The Local Taphouse. Pours... Dark, yup. Roasty nose, but surprisingly more coffee notes than chocolate/cocoa. Typical keg paleness. Taste is not nearly as rich as aroma, sadly. I was hoping for more, this one is quite bland.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with red tint and a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and dark chocolate. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee and a hint of vanilla with a dry, slightly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation.
