Ridiculously hazy golden coloured body with a straw glow along with a thick, slow-dying off-white head, about seven centimetres tall. Aroma of grass, hay, brett, yeast, bread, light hops, citrus, apples and some subtle alcohol. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong rich flavour of grass and hay with some light hops, bread, yeast, coriander seed but the alcohol still shows through, along with some fruit and mild sweetness at the end. Aftertaste is quite dry and herbal with the grass and the yeast really coming through with some wheat and citrus flavours at the tail end. Overall, a good rich flavour with a nice yeastie complexity with the dryness you’d expect from a saison, but more hops than typical and a bit more sweetness as well. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 01-July-2016 for US$13,75 sampled at home in Washington on 04-November-2016.

Draught @ Malt and Mold. Milky orange with small forthy whitish head, citrus aroma, medium carbonation, thich body, medium bitter orange peel taste, long bitter finish. Nice dank IPA, Brett not being very noticeable.

Hazy yellow. Thin head, floral, honeyish, apricotty, with a little bit yeasty, and this comes through in the fizzy body. Has a fairly yeasty, dry, floral and fruity character. Medium bitterness.

Bottle - Grassy, funky citrus and creamy notes. Cloudy light gold with a decent white head. Sweet creamy and funky with a light bitter finish. Neat.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque golden yellow with a lovely large foamy white head. Aroma brings out lovely rustic farmhouse notes, some spicy rye, and light fruitiness. Flavour is very fruity, with loads of stone fruits (especially peach), along rustic farmhouse notes and a very yeasty finish. High carbonation, but it's fitting. Super fruity on the finish. Nice stuff.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy blond color with large head. Powerful aroma, the spicy yeast blends perfectly with a citrus character from the hops. The mouthfeel is bone dry, but also largely carbonated, and rather smooth; the yeast character is extreme, it brings spices, and some bitter orange peel; but unfortunately also a strong bitter vegetable character that in the final is disturbing.
I don’t like the final, but this is a beer with a lot of character, and another batch may actually turn out very well.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($13.75): Pours hazy yellow-orange with a gusher head... too much gusher. Aroma is farmhouse funk, light bits of rye (though that will be more apparent in the sipping process), and spice. Taste is spicy, rye bitterness, some sweetness. Bubbly and tangy body. Very crisp. Good rye aftertaste. Nice beer.
