This Triple is a performance, powerful and rich at once, without ever falling into excess. This is a beer that spreads its complexity, without falling into heaviness. The color is golden yellow, bright. The nose has touches of honey, candied apricot . The palate is complex, silky, intense, long, fruity with touches of almonds and dried white fruit. The alcohol content is never overpowering and the end is marked by a touch of bitterness that prolongs the pleasure again and again ...

250 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, VatlandsvΓ₯g. Slightly hazy orange beer with floaters and a creamy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, yeast, spices and this typical Belgium sweetness. Flavor is sweet, malty, spicy, yeast, fruity, sugar and a hint of alcohol. Not to complex, still well made and easy drinkable tripel.

Bottle at Staminee de Garre in Brugge. Pours a darkish gold color with a foamy white head. Aromas of citrus and light fruit. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is yeast/spice, orange and arguably apricot. It is extremely tasty, and ends with the slightest bitterness. Clean and fresh.

Pleasant aroma of orange and sweet stone fruits, backed by yeast and spice - like very light clove. Hazy orangy gold color with a decent white head that filmed rather rapidly. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. The flavor is caramel, candy, citrus, yeast, and something like a tart apple. The finish is rather dry, lightly bitter, and it left orange oil flavor on my lips. The orange oil seems stronger with time. It is certainly delicious.

25cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Clear gold, lasting white head. Some peachy estery yeast aroma. It’s actually pretty good, very drinkable, very good esteryness. Really pretty decent tripel. The fruit is excellent and so is the paleish malt. Some hop on finish.

Bottle. Golden, good carbonation. Thick tight white head. Yeasty Belgian ale aroma, bit like Duvel. Bit herby and spicey in mouth. Very good hoppy finish, that tingles the tip of the tongue. Extremely drinkable

Bottle: A bit hazy, deeo golden, visible carbonation, small lasting white layer; moderate sweet-fruity (orangey), a bit sugary, nose; moderate sweet-tart flavour, medium bodied; a tinge of warming brandy in the sweet and slight tart finish. A heavy brew, but not very complex.............

Bottle, 25cl. Thx to Sigmund. A lively carbonation giving a huge, firm and creamy white head. Big chunks floates in the orange-golden body. Fruity nose with a little yeasty and slightly smoked hint. Sweetish and fruity too, with some herbal notes. Quite sweet on the palate, white sugar sweet, fruity too, with pear and apple coming to mind. Rather dry in the finiish with some coriander and a genereous fruityness. The beer is a bit too sweet, but quite tasteful and hides the alcohol well. Hard to avoid the big chunks of protein or yeast when pouring, which pulls down the appearance score. (090210)
