HUGE GUSHER ALERT!!!
Pretty clear amber beer, no head left after all the gushing. Aroma: rather sweet, oxidized, dried fruits, caramel, banana, floral touch. MF: very light carbon (most of it gushed out), full body. Taste: sweet start, very fruity, ripe banana, soft acidity, pretty oxidized, lots of raisins. Aftertaste: bit sweet, pretty darn complex, lovely beer I have to admit, doesn't taste infected, so just too much yeast added in the bottle then?

Bottle from Willems. I was suspicious when I read ’White Pony’ on the label and alas: this was not your ordinary gusher, this was a supergusher. I carefully pulled the cork and the beer litterally spouted out of the bottle like a fountain. I could capture only 1/4 of it in my tasting glass - if I could give a plain 0/5 for appearance, I would do it, and it is not the first time White Pony pulls this trick on me. The humble remainder showed a medium thick, stable, egg-white, moussy head and a completely cloudy, ochre blonde colour with brownish, muddy deposit in the bottom of the glass - anything but pleasant. Aroma of overripe peach, dry earth and dried autumn leaves, baked banana, redcurrant, a lot of nail polish-like phenols, dried ginger, white pepper, medlar, cooked potato, roasted pine nuts, whisky, ’band aid’ and rotting hay. Estery taste, peach, gooseberry, some banana, medium carbo, deep sourish base, supple caramelly and bready malt backbone suffering from even more bready yeastiness, almost starch-like, becoming more and more earthy and ’dirty’ in the end, rotting fruit esters remaining, sweetish and sourish with a dull bitterness surrounding it but the sweetness prevails, even honeyish, badly hidden ’jenever’-like alcohol in the end without becoming overly ’burning’. Mediocre idea (too sweet for even a strong saison), very badly executed. Since this was a somewhat older bottle, I sincerely hope Gaverhopke managed to control this gushing problem, because obviously this completely ruined it for me. Until they do, I will not lay hands on any of those unbalanced, infected, over-the-top White Pony beers any more.

Gushed everywhere. A complete disaster... All over my phone and tablet, not to mention the other raters. What are these guys doing? This should not be sold commercially. The aroma and flavour were big sweet resin hop. Not pleasant.... but there was very little to drink. Avoid this like the plague!

Bottle shared. Massively gushed out of the bottle. Aroma is vegetal, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. At least what was left after the explosion. This is a shit beer.

BIG TIME GUSHER Pours darker amber, fuzzy , dark blonde-ish . 90 %of the pour is white foam, at least . smell is not that intence, grains and bit bitter way to high carbo ( first one of this brewery that has that ) but the taste is nowhere near as bad as i feared, after reading the reactions below . it has some bread , grains, rather bitter but not hoppy , bit sweet in the back . for taste, i’d give 3,6 - 3,7 . but i’m giving less, cause of the gushing ( extreme gushing , even ) NOTE --- contact with the brewer tought me he is not satisfied how about this beer turned out . for that reason, he is pretty sure that he will stop making it .

Exploding bottle shared @ weekly tasting. EXTREME GUSHER!! Hazy orange color, huge soapy, good lacing white head. Aroma is sweet and sour-infected at the same time. Taste is -thank god- not infected. Sweetish, but not really wrong flavorwise. Too bad it exploded and smelled horrible.

Woop woop! It’s the gusher alarm. Big squirter. Bottle @ home shared by benzai. Hazy amber with a huge off white head. Smells sweet, sour, slightly rotten leafs, slightly dusty, funghus. Tastes sweet, herbs, malts. Medium body, soft carbo.
