I got a mas krug of this on special at hopdevil. Poured copper, aroma is malts, and some caramel. A pretty decent vienna/marzen.

Draught @ Albion. Rich golden color with small foamy beige head, bread aroma, medium carbonation, slightly sweet malt taste, abrupt finish. A fine specimen of a lager.

Hope Devil Grill, NY tap ($6): Pours a light muddy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt with a hint of citrus. Taste is slightly malty. Body is watery. Finish is lemon soap. This ain’t bad, but if I didn’t rate this right now, I would forget it.

Started off my vacation in Disney and stayed at Saratoga Springs resort so figured grab a Saratoga Lager and even though it cost me 6 dollars for a bottle I enjoyed it. It was malty and flavorful. poured a deep amber. And a decent start to my vacation

Bottle. Poured a lovely penny-red with a thin, pure white head. Earthy, malty aroma with hints of sweet candies. Flavor is rich with note of caramel and honey. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Finish is sweet and slightly bitter. Nice beer.

Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop Downtown Charlottesville. Pours a slightly hazy red with medium fizzy head that quickly disappears. Crisp grainy aroma that has a subtle hint of bitterness. Taste is hop bitterness, grain, caramel. This is nice.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with gold edges and off white head. The aroma begins with a mild brief shot of roasted malts that get covered by sweet pale to Munich type malts and spice to floral to citrus hops. Very mild aroma so these notes were subtle. The taste is very much like the aroma with a quick hit of roasted malts followed by pale malts mixed with Munich malts. There’s muted floral and hop spice murmuring up from time to time. Into the finish sweet malts and caramel actually becomes the dominant flavor components mixed with more Munich type malts. Nice lager.

Hazy orange/amber in colour with a nice dense off-white head. Plenty of aroma, basically just nice low a.a. hops and some biscuity malt. Actually smells like a Vienna to me. Light-bodied; High-Carbonation; Weak-Taste; Almost no flavour gets going in the mouth, and aside from a subdued maltiness...nothing shows in the finish. Overall, a stupid beer for me to buy, but I did it anyways. Not that it really needs to be said (as its a dumb gimmick beer), but this one really isn't worth buying! I got this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World.
