Hops and Hocks, Brooklyn can: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is the fruity mosaic all the way through. Taste is lightly bitter. Kind of mellow and fruity. Mosaic hops doing mosaic hop stuff I suppose. Pretty nice. Easy going down. Didn’t realise this was a session.

Draught @ Taproom no307. Hazy orange with small foamy white head, low carbonation, slightly salty citrus peel taste, medium citrus finish. More citrusy than bitter.

Keg at Torst. It pours cloudy pale orange with a thick white head. The nose is soft, freshly baked bread, floral, tangerine, peach cobbler and oily hop. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, dry, toasted, grass, grapefruit peel, tangerine and minerals with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well-rounded and just very drinkable.

Bottom of the can reads: 07/30/2015.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy pale yellow to orange color with a quarter finger’s white foamy sustaining head that dissipated within less than a minute. Lacing moderately roamed around the glass.
The smell had a florally sweet to freshly cut grassy to citrus and melon blending in nicely to each other.
The taste balanced between the bitter and the sweet with a creamy melon background wonderfully setting aside a creamy sweet aftertaste.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light allowing the harshness to be the bitterness.
Overall, as a session IPA, this one definitely works. Its low bitterness helps it to remain crushable. Good job, Lost Nation!

From the can. Caramel and tropical fruit aromas. Soft with bready bubblegum and caramel upfront turning to mango before the lasting pith finish.

Draft @ LN. Clnearly clear pale.yellow, no head in the sample glass. Aroma is a mild Mosiac, light onion, weak scallion, grass. Weak grain presence. Pale grain base with the light lingering scallion and grassy finish. Body is very lean like most session IPA’s but no worries it is still super drinkable. No flaws at all.
