33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij. Clear golden with a big white head. Fruity yeasty aroma. Sweet taste. A classic Belgian abby tripel.

Sweet Tripel beer. Bitterness is low. Aftertaste ist not intense. Alkohol is dominant. Carbonization is rather high. Not my favourite Tripel, but not bad. 330 ml bottle from Colruyt in Antwerp.

19/08/2016 - part of a 33cl bottle @ my mother-in-law’s. Light golden with nice head. Spicy, citrus. Typical but not overly sweet and a light bitterness.

F: huge, frothy, white, average lasting. C: yellow, hazy, non-transparent. A: malty, light citrus, grassy, banana, hay, yeast, spicy. T: sweet malty, light grassy bitterness, peaches, coriander, orange peels, yeasty, banana, medium full body, lively carbonation, 9% ABV, 0,33l bottle from Colruyt supermarket in Brussels.

Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is krachtig hoppig bitter en licht zoetig met lange afdronk. Lichte citrus smaak. Erg goed.

Pours clear blonde. Small white head. Smell is mildly bitter, some malts. Not very intense but ok. Taste is fresh, bit bitter, yeasty, complete with overripe fruits and bitterness,. Ok. Average mf and carbo. Lrefer it over the blonde , but not much

Golden blonde tripel with frothy, snow white head; fruity, sweet and honeyish, sugary touch, a bit yeasty, a bit chalky, malt sweetness with slight spicy hints, finishing on the sweet side, tempered by a soft grassy hop bitterishness and some warming alcohol. Very cliché tripel, but decent alright.

Kolor: jasne złoto, nie klarowny. Piana spora, drobno i średnio pęcherzykowa, długotrwała.
Zapach kwiatowy, lekko kwaskowy i żywiczny.
W smaku z kolei, można minimalnie wyczuć owoce, między innymi pomarańcze i podobnie jak aromacie przebijają się kwiatowe akcenty.
Bardzo intensywna goryczka, może nawet trochę zalegająca. Na finiszu jest mocno zaznaczony alkohol, który nadaje piwu "ostrości".
Postel Tripel nie jest tak masywny i "pełny" jak inne piwa tego typu, nie jest też wybitny. Pije się go jednak z przyjemnością i lekko.
