Bottle from Colruyt, Gent. Golden colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Medium sweet tripel with notes of banana and citrus. Also some spices (coriander). Light bitter hoppy finish. Good tripel.

Gelb-trübe Farbe mit leicht beigem Schaum. Der Antrunk ist süßlich-scharf, leichte alkoholische Töne spürbar. Der Hauptteil ist relativ alkoholisch-vergoren, leicht scharf. Schwache Aromen von gelben Früchten. Der Nachgeschmack ist scharf, leicht herb, und eher unangenehm.

Almost clear orange golden colour, small white short lasting frothy head. Sweet malty nose, honey, caramel, tangerine, peach, yeast, herbs (juniper) and spices, citrus, floral hops. Medium sweet, slightly bitter. Full body, creamy texture, smooth hopbitter finish, followed by tingly peppery notes, well-balanced tripel, I like it.

Yet another Belgian tripel. Grainy, yeasty and with some aroma hops. Nice, but I’ve had it so many times before.

Clear orange beer, big aery white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: banana, bit sugary, sweet, fruity, little spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, banana, bready yeast, citrus, pretty spicy, some coriander, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: banana, bit grassy, bitter hops, some coriander and other spices. Was very pleasantly surprised by the unexpected relatively bitter flavour and complexity of this beer. I do like a good Belgian Tripel beer, every once in a while!

33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from ALBO. BBF 28/02/2014. Bright amber orange with a creamy milky white head. Smell is fruits, esters, other grains, slight alcohol, candy sugar sweet & grains soaks in alcohol. Taste is slightly bitter, creamy grains, decent amount of alcohol, esters, quite boozy, tangerine peel, some candy sugar, light citrus. Carb. is a bit too high. A not so good Belgian beer made by a big brewery, simply, cheap, lacking & overly boozy. Not terrible but not worth the effort either.

0,33 flaske på hotellrommet, siste kveld i Brussel: lett og kort skum til belgier å være. Aroma av appelsin og fruktkakedeig. Beware - kveldens Albyl-E gikk motstandsløst ned med denne.
