50CL - thanks Kurt! Dark brown with some red hues. Nose is loaded with oak and cherries. Sweet cherry tart finish. Starts very muted. Overall, it's good but not a revalation.

Bottled. An unclear dark brown beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of yeast, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, brettanomyces, roasted malt, and lemons, leading to a tart finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

500 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with medium head that dissipates quickly. Light aromas of dark sour fruit and roasted malts. Flavors of plum skins, jam, a little citrus, roasted malts, and a touch of rye. Wood presence is there but doesn’t distract. Very nice without being too sour or heavy.

Bottle(thanks to Rian!):Reddish-amber coloured, hazy, small off-white foamy layer, delicate woody-sourish nose, caramel, too; moderate sour-sweet flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 7.0%, at least quite soft; shorter tart and sourish fruity finish, some nutty traces detectable. Good, but not completely convincing…

Bottle at home, from Dranken Geers, 12/04/13. Pours a very dark shade of mahogony brown, vergeing on light black, with a handsome beige head that stays for the party. Nose is soured dark fruits, light balsams, slight metallic tinge, woody notes. Taste is dark fruit, sour apples and pears, light balsam, brown sugars, tarte red grapes, traces of booze from the barrel ageing. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and a tarte finish. Not a world beating sour but a decent offering none the less and one I’d happily have again.

Bottle shared with Deanso. Pours brown with a tan head. Aroma of red fruits, vinous, caramel, malt, light bourbon. Flavour is slightly acidic, moderate sweet. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. A slightly weird combination of barrels.

Very dark brown. Aroma has some sweeter notes of vanilla and brown sugar. Body is thin. Red fruits come through more so in an acidic way. I’m not a sour fan but this is drinkable.
