Granted, it was damn ’ difficult, but our customers asked for such a beer, we are actually quite proud of the fact that we succeeded. What we have succeeded with is to produce a beer that is not already from the first sip an attack on your tastebuds with a screeching hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol. Bryggen’s Blonde is probably best described as a beer with a gentle appearance that appeals to the thoughtful segment, rather than the tanned, hardened beer enthusiasts. In the glass it appears a warm golden beer both creamy and delicious. The scent is rich in floral tones and a slight hint of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.
With Bryggens Blond we would like to thank those of our customers who reminded us that a good beer does not always have to be a wild and violent experience.

Bottle shared as a road soda after the De Molen tasting. Pours cloudy golden with a tan head. Aroma of malt, grain, wort, oats and light caramel. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

0.5l bottle. This is a light blurry golden one packed with microscopic particles floating about and a small, bubbly and light side clinching off-white top. Smells light floral with traces of caramel and pale malts. A bit on the sweet side. It's average on the carbonation level with a light oily mouthfeel. More floral on the flavor, light thin sweet caramel-graininess and flower water. Then there is a decent grassy bitterness that's lasting before I get tones of wet cardboard. A bit almost metallic in the aftertaste. Not a favorite, but it's definitely drinkable. 28.11.2012

Hazy gold - amber beer. Neutral to slightly soft palate. Aromatic malt with butter and caramel. A little fruity hop coming through. Minerally crisp and semi dry finish. Hangs together reasonably well.

Bottle from The Cracked Kettle web shop. Hazy golden color with minimal white head. Aroma of honey, toffee, caramel, light hoppy bitterness in background. Taste, sweet malty, yeast, pears, apples, honey, lemon, light bitterness. Long sweet bitter finish. Not the best beer from Amager, I’ve had.

Medium white coarseish head. Deep yellow body. Deep fruity strawy malty aroma with honey notes. Fresh and harmonic. Dry-sweetish strawy malty honey taste with herbal notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Light body. Dryish honey and flowers aftertaste with caramelly notes. Very nice, and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, Café Langebro, Copenhagen.)
