Draft at Frisco Taphouse poured into a standard pint glass. Pours black with a light tan head. Aromas of cinnamon and licorice mainly. Tastes of big licorice, light cinnamon, spices, anise, light roast. Medium light body with a semi-dry finish. Too much licorice flavor for my liking.

Drought. Reddish brown with small foamy beige head, faint cinnamon aroma, slightly bitter spicy taste, thin body, long finish. Draft at Beer Run, 12/26/13. Pours a dark brown color with a thin creamy offwhite head. Decent head retention. Aroma of cinnamon, roasted malts, chocolate and a finish of tart dark fruits. The taste is dark roasted malts, coffee, dark fruits and spices in the finish. Medium bodied.

16oz at the Big Hunt. Hazy mahogany brown with some thin off white head. Nose has some dusty couch, some dried malt, cinnamon. Flavor has malt, molasses, cracker, cinnamon, some black pepper. Dry finish. Solid.
