This was kinda boring. It was more like an amber ale. Some slight nutty aromas mixed with a butterscotch kinda maltiness, but i didn’t detect much rye at all. Meh, seems like a basic amber ale to me.

Draught at C’est What, Toronto
Amber color, with creamy head. The arma is simple, the flavor is creamy, with caramel and light smoke too. There is a light impression of sulfur or goat cheese.
Simple but pleasant.

Smells like nothing almost. A little malt maybe. There’s some bitter rye taste on the after but minimal body and character. Pours a clear red with some lacing.

Reddish amber color, off white foamy head, slight rye aroma, rye and hoops flavor, medium carbonation, medium finish. Not bad for an exotic beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Caraway Rye on 11 Jul 2011 at 11:27 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6. A nice reddish brown ale with a thin off white head. A nice caramel aroma with butterscotch notes. In mouth, a light caramel malt with sweet notes, a bit buttery. On tap at C’est What, March 21, 2009.

Golden-brown colour. Caramel nose with light brown sugar. Thick, lightly toasty body. There’s some caraway but not much rye. Mostly just a nondescript amber.
