A spiced winter ale. This delicious brew has chamomile, all-spice, cinnamon, and cloves, giving an aroma and taste that will remind of the Yuletide season.

Draft. Dark cola pour with a light tan head. Aroma was lots of allspice, cinnamon, cloves. Very "Christmas", still refreshing enough to consume without it feeling too out of season, despite the very seasonal notes in it.

12oz bottle pours a hazy amber with some creamy, lightly off white head. Nose has clove, some cake icing, some cinnamon, some candied yams, mild malt, some roasted carrot. Flavor is the same, quite carrot cakey, candied yams, cinnamon, a little chai tea. Tannic finish.

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep brown with an amber glare and a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty, breadish and light fruity. Sweet caramelish. Toasted mqlty and slight fruity. Dry and roasted finish.

Drought at International Great Beer Expo (Meadowlands). Dark amber color with off-white foamy head, cloves aroma, spicy taste with cloves and cinnamon discernible, high carbonation, slightly too sweet but nice warming beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Naughty or Nice? on 26 Jan 2014 at 09:25 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Slightly clear light brown coloured body with a nice glow of ruby, violet, brown and even some copper, all with a one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of light earth, nuts, malt, toffee, caramel and a touch of very mild spices like canella and cardamom. Light-bodied; Sharp malty flavour with a lot of nuts and earth and a deep toffee and caramel flavour. Aftertaste is quite thin with not much else aside from the caramel and bitterness, not much malt and no spices or anything of substance. Overall, a fairly empty beer with not too many flavours going around and a touch of malt up front, but after that, a thin, unimpressive beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 30-November-2013 for US$1.61 sampled at home in Washington a day before returning to Boonton on 16-January-2014.
