Historically brewed with hemp seeds, Chronic Ale has been a staple at Pizza Port for over a decade! This mellow amber ale is the most popular beer in all of our pub locations as it agrees with everyone’s palate and goes great with pizza. It was a dream come true to finally put it in a can and give people the chance to carry it with them wherever they go!

Can from Uiltje webshop, canned on 03/03/15, large sample. Clear amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of caramel, bit fruity hop, slight strawberry candy (fruitella), some cookie. Quite sweet caramelly taste, bit dry in the finish. Didnt expect such a sweet tooth actually. Reasonable.

Tap at Harry’s. not much aroma - bready malt for whatever is there. Beautiful clear copper with full light khaki head. Malty flavor with a weird cloying ness out of no where in the middle that fades somewhat quickly.

Can (shared by fatphil, thanks). Pours amber with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet, malt, fruits, nuts. Flavor is sweet and malty, brown sugar, fruits. Overall: ok, but doesn’t feel fresh.

Tasting glass draft @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear dark orange, creamy white head. Nose is weird herbal hay & sweeter malt base. Taste is herbal, cough syrup, sugar, overly sweet with candy, herbal qualities. Cough syrup & herbal body. Weird, not entirely my cup of tea.
