Hip Hop USA is een IPA gemaakt op basis van 50% Munich en 50% pilsmout. Hierdoor krijgt het bier zijn prachtige kleur en moutig aroma. Voor deze IPA gebruiken we vooral El Dorado hop dit zoals als bitter-, aroma- en dry-hop. De bitterheid is hoog en blijft lange tijd nasmaken.

El Dorado hop wordt geteeld in de Moxee Valley in de staat Washington. De Moxee Valley is deel van de Yakima Valley en heeft een kouder klimaat. Door de koelere temperaturen worden uitstekende aroma’s verkregen.

33cl bottle from Bierhandel Willems en Zoon. Thin white head. Cloudy golden pour. Nice bitterness. Easy drinking

Bottle shared. Very hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of fruits, orange, mango, herbal notes and light spice notes. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Above light bodied with a juicy hop palate and light carbonation.

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is hoppy, aromatic, bit bitter. reminding of eastcoast IPA’s. Taste is bitter, very grainy, very aromatic hops. Somewhat sweet, mildly bitter. Only negative point I can make is the intensity of this one being to low, but damn, this is one of the best IPA’s I ever drank in Belgium ! Easy drinkable, good body and mf and just the perfect amount of maltyness in the taste ! Amazing !

330 ml. bottle drank @ Bahnhove. Very dark amber, touch orange appearance, solid off-white head. Nose is fruit USA hops, mango, pine, orange, some sweet spices. Taste is orange, mango, quite sweet & sugary, dark bread, heavy malt taste & presence, some candy, touch herb, dark bread – maybe they should have used a higher percentage of pils malts?, dunno, I am not a brewer – floral fruits, cloves,… A bit over carbonated, malty,… Messy but quite pleasant. Best of the 4 beers by them I tried @ Bahnhove.
