Bottle. Slight hazy golden with long lasting white head. Vanilla ice cream, spices, caramel, touch of milk chocolate, cake, biscuits. Then gets more fruity with apricots and some lime. Herbal bitter finish. Medium to full bodied with great creamy feel. Wow, really nice.

Crisp golden and light copper coloured body, all with a thinnish and fast-dying tan head. Aroma of alcohol, apples, yeast, grain, hay, pears and a touch of light spice. Medium-bodied; Dense apple and grain mouthful with a good spice kick and some definite grassy and herbal flavours near the finish. Aftertaste shows more pungency with the yeast dominating and alcohol coming out along with the grassy and almost medicinal flavours. Overall, a decent beer, not superb, but showing complexity and depth, but some of those deep and long-lasting flavours are on the harsh and unrefined side...and that is with ~15months aging - fresh would be too rough around the edges, i’m sure. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 19-August-2013 for €2,99 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the pond on 14-November-2014. Best by date printed on bottle of June 2015. Purchased: August 2013 // Sampled: November 2014 // Best By: June 2015

Rye beer also using barley and wheat and three German hop varieties, since 2010. Thick, creamy, milky white head, warm orange blonde colour, misty. Aroma of orange, honey, cheese, peach, sour yoghurt, pineapple; soft fruity taste, sweetish, strong orange peel presence, caramelly malt base with the typical subtle acidity of wheat and rye, very mild, florally hopped finish. Decent but not my favorite from this otherwise great brewery.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey, amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, superbly lacing, barely white head. Slightly grainy, fruity aroma, hints of apricot, peach, mirabelle in both, dried and fresh aggregate state, a touch of apple and oat flakes. Taste is dry to bitter hoppy, hoppy and malty fruity basis with notes of peach, apricot, mirabelle, even more basic a mixture of apple purée and oat flakes, in the finish with an additional slightly peppery spicy touch. Nice, quite typical Triple-character with an exra hop dosis.

Bottle. Nose is orange, caramel, grain, a little resin; interesting and enticing. Taste is honey, leading to rich caramel, a little brown sugar and cream and a sweet finish slightly peppery finish. The mouthfeel is thick and full. An interesting and enjoyable winter warmer (I’m drinking in June. Go figure)
