Deviation. Yes good on aroma. But better on finish. Authentic funk on finish. Yes lemon and wood. Preety decent but lacks real authenticity.. Bit too lemon squash. Tasty but too much lemon. 3.7

Bottle. Oh my goodness. This is the shit!!!!! Hazy burnt orange pour with a frothy white head. Wonderful funk, brett, and mild barnyard aromas. Tart but not overly sour and very refreshing. Lemon zest, wet barrel, sour cherries, bret, a hint of oak and vanilla. Dry and crisp. Out-freakin-standing.........

750ml Bottle with a HUGE thanks to JohnGalt1 for sharing this white whale at the white whale tasting. Pours out a light cloudy golden topped with an off-white head. Aroma was barnyard, oak, Brett, funk, oak, light citrus notes, and some apple. Taste was as the aroma very nice with a ton of stuff going on the funky, barnyard, some leather, light fruit notes, and some vanilla.

Rating number 3900. Bottle at Stone Sourfest thanks to AlohaC, thanks Christian! Pours a golden hue with a white head. Aroma is funky, wood, acidic, and musty. Taste is acidic, dry, cobwebs, and super complex. Funky, lemon, earth. Lively bubbles, perfectly light body. Sour, complex, clean finish that is extremely dry. This reminds me a lot in some ways of Millennium Gueuze. An Excellent Sour! 8/4/9/5/16:4.2
Rerate thanks to AmEricanBrew. Pours with a hazed golden orange body with a white head that lasts. Aroma of grape, grapefruit, horseblanket, vanilla, barrel. Flavors are acidic, honey, hay and tons of complexities, pear, strong lactic acid, nectarines and horseblanket. Lively, dry and amazing!

Sampled at DC Epic Sour Tasting 2010. Pours a hazy, caramel orange with a creamy, clumpy white head. Nose of cherries, lemon peel, hay, pepper, brett, grass, a little cracker, a hint of butterscotch, a little bit of vegetables. Flavor is tart, strong puckering lemon, grapefruit pith, grass, lime, a touch medicinal, a touch of band aid. Finish is super tart, very acidic.

Bottle @ Brugmansia/Fonefan US Tasting, April 2010. Thanks a lot. Pours unclear dark orange with a small creamy bubbly head on top. Nose & taste is fruit, funk, brett and barnyard. Very complex. Dry and very sour and funky. Huge bite. The dry tartness nearly leaves my mouth numb. Wauuww...

Bottled, thanks marsiblursi! Lightly hazy golden, mid-sized head. Concentrated lemon and old hay aroma. Dryish and tart, well rounded with marked vinegary acidity. Some caramel and slight vinous oakiness adds complexity to the acidic flavour. Finishes with stale hop bitterness.
