Black with a large foamy brown head that faded quickly. Boozy with cocoa and strong coffee. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Bottle thanks to the adventures of Stuu in Chicago.
Appearance - opaque jet black, thin crema head.
Nose - green coffee bean, green pepper and earthy with dry chocolate.
Taste - much more chocolate, creamy and just a hint of that green note lurking.
Palate - medium to full bodied, creamy middle and sweet finish.

Bottle shared thanks to Alexander. Black with tan head, looks syrupy. Coffee indeed, blackberries, cinnamon, vanilla, light smoke, earthy, chocolate, plums, raisins, molasses. Quite sweet, medium bitter, very light sour. Thick full body. Good!

aroma of booze dark toffee, dark caramel, chocolate, coffee, i think a bit of herbal chili like notes, sweet herbs or vegetables.
flavor has a lot of coffee, smooth mellow rounded coffee, some coconut and vanilla, some roasted malts and a chocolate , roasted malts , coffee ending. there is a minute and tiny peppery chili bite in the flavor, but nothing much.

Sample at the Roost. Murky rootbeer brown, khaki head. Nose is big on the base beer, molasses and licorice and brown sugar and huuuuge cinnamon. Coffee lurks but a back seat. Flavor balanced more and it's like a cinnamon brownie but where's the coffee

Pours a thick, dark, oily brown-black, with slow-developing, mid-sized tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, dark fruits. Flavors follow, with some cinnamon. Not tasting (or smelling) the ancho chile. Very, very soft, smooth mouthfeel. It's very good.
